Cos’è TakeActionReFashion?
E’ un modo una scusa per raccogliere, due percorsi sul FashionActivism. Nati da due progetti di tesi di Rossella Scicolone e Wouter de Roos, studenti di FashionDesign della NABA di Milano. Durante le ricerche, gli studi per la tesi hanno riscontrato la necessità di sviluppare un Workshop per analizzare, approfondire quei discorsi, quelle dinamiche che circondano il FashionActivism. TakeActionReFashion è un Workshop del dipartimento di Fashion Design, svolto in Naba, Dicembre 2009, basato su due strade progettuali differenti una dal titolo TakeAction e l’altra ReFashion. L’ idea è quella di partire da un unica materia: il Capo Vissuto, per poi analizzarlo, rivisitarlo, scomporlo e usarlo come strumento per far nascere due nuovi segni nel mondo del FashionActivism.
What is TakeActionReFashion?
It is an excuse too put together two different developments in Fashion Activism. Born from two thesis projects by Rosella Scicolone and Wouter de Roos, Fashion Design students at NABA, Milano. During their research and thesis studies they felt the necessity to develop a workshop to analyze and further discover the dynamics of Fashion Activism! TakeActionReFashion is a Fashion Workshop organized at NABA art school, in December 2009, based on two different projects: one by the title TakeAction and the other by the title ReFashion. The idea is to start off with a second hand piece of clothing, to analyze it, revisit it and to use it as an instrument to give birth to two new projects in the world of Fashion Activism!
Cos’è il FashionActivism?
E’ una interpretazione Individuale del “sistema moda”, che nasce da una sensibilità contemporanea, dove si trattano capi di second hand per una scelta sociale, economica ed etica. La forma con cui i fashion activists agiscono è spesso quella del workshop (o laboratorio): mezzo di reazione collettiva da cui possono nascere mostre, sfilate, happenings conditi con un’ atmosfere di festa.
What is Fashion Activism?
It’s an individual interpretation of the fashion system, that is born from a contemporary sensibility, where we work on second hand clothing for a social, economical and ethical choice. It’s a popular theme for laboratories and workshops, as a collective reaction.
